After arriving in NZ, I attended Fairhall Primary School (Blenheim) and as soon as I was old enough, my parents shipped me off to boarding school far, far away (Nelson). After leaving school, I ventured my way down to Invercargill to study Music and Sound Engineering at The Southern Institute of Technology. I learnt a lot living in Invercargill and I met many amazing musicians. It was down there that I started teaching guitar. I quickly realised that music was not my only passion, passing on my knowledge to others was also something I loved. It made me feel like I was really contributing to someone elses life, I was giving them the opportunity to experience what I experience every day; the feeling that comes from hearing that collection of notes go so perfectly together and knowing it was you who brought them into existence.
